It's not a sign I’m married. Single people wear it too.

It doesn't have superpowers other than I can picture what kind of hair day other women in hijabs are having (don't ask me how).

It doesn't mean that I support ISIS or other extremist groups.

There's no single way of tying the hijab: you can wear it up, down, or all around.

I don't need you to tell us when you can see bits of our hair sticking out - I just need a mirror to adjust.
